All About Airport Transfers
For many holiday
makers, getting to their Broadbeach accommodation will involve airport transfers (shuttle service)
from either the local
Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta, or the
Brisbane airport
terminals. The trip involves time and expense that
has to be considered in any holiday planning as transfer services are
not included in the accommodation package.
Airport transfers generally consist of four (4) options, namely the
Airtrain service, motor coach, limousine and taxi cabs
(Coolangatta only). The accommodation reservations desk will be able to advise the best options and
can usually assist with airport transfer bookings for you.

This combined rail and road service connects Brisbane and
the Gold Coast and Broadbeach holiday makers will disembark at Robina
station.
Rail platforms
are located at the front of the Brisbane airport terminals and the service runs
every 15 minutes from Brisbane and every 30 minutes from the Gold Coast.
There is a choice of a either a door-to-door ticket where the road portion of the transfer uses sedan limousines
or alternately, the use of taxi cabs to and from the accommodation and
Robina Station. Airtrain tickets can be booked in advance via their
website and can also be purchased at the
station.
Motor Coach Shuttle Services
Mini coaches provide an airport "meet 'n greet" service at both Coolangatta
and Brisbane and are the most common method of airport transfer. The
service provides a
drop-off at the front door of the accommodation property. Vehicles
are usually fitted with a trailer for any surplus luggage.
Travel times to Brisbane Airport are approximately 2 hours from central
Gold Coast and Broadbeach area.
Tickets need to be booked in advance and a minimum of 48 hours notice is

Limousine Services
For for personalised service or that special occasion, there is
the option of a chauffeur
driven limousine.
Choice of vehicles range from a Rolls Royce, stretch limo to corporate
sedan. Limousines are available from both Brisbane and Coolangatta
airports and need to be booked well in advance.

Car Rentals
Renting a car for your Broadbeach holiday? Pick-up your rental car from
the airport when you arrive and save the
cost of airport transfers. All the major rental companies
are represented as well as a broad cross section of local companies offering
everything from open top sports buggies to luxury sports cars. Many Gold
Coast based rental companies will provide a Brisbane airport pick-up and
drop-off.
Your accommodation provider will be able to assist with your rental car
bookings and may have a preferred company they can recommend.
