The PGA Championship 2014 on the Gold Coast

From 11th-14th December at the home of PGA Championship Golf - the RACV Royal Pines Resort at the Gold Coast, this 27 hole championship course was designed by Graham Marsh. A composite course with 3 x PAR 72, 18 hole combinations, this course is set to challenge the world’s top golfers again this year. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online.

So if you are heading here for the PGA tournament or at any other time of the year, make sure you check out at least one of these top golf courses on the Gold Coast:

  • Gainsborough Greens: About 20 minutes north of the Broadbeach and set in a natural bushland environment at Pimpama, this 18 hole course offers a mix of and easy plays as is suitable for both experienced and novice players – just watch out for the Eastern Grey Kangaroos who like to frequent the course.
  • Lakelands Country Club: Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this 18 hole, PAR 72 championship course, is one of the top golf courses on the Gold Coast and is graced with cascading waterfalls, challenging lakes and sweeping greens.
  • The Glades: A Greg Norman designed course, located at Robina and about 15 minutes south of Broadbeach, this 18 hole, PAR 72 course offers experienced golfers a serious challenge amidst a beautiful setting.
