What Is Included?
Broadbeach holiday apartments are
fully self contained and everything necessary
for a self catering holiday is included in the accommodation. You only
need to bring personal effects, clothing, foodstuffs and beach
towels.
The list of items included will vary between different properties.
However, the following is typical of what guests can expect to find in
their Broadbeach accommodation.

Apartments is usually serviced on a 7 or 10 day cycle. More frequent
servicing can usually be arranged with management for an extra cost.
Many resorts and apartments now have internet
connectivity enabling guests to stay in touch with their email and
online business. Some properties have connections in the guest
apartment and others provide an internet kiosk facility.
The majority of properties now offer cable, or
satellite, TV services. Video and CD hire is often available from the
front desk. Some,
but not all, apartments provide hairdryers. If not included in the
apartment, they are often available from the reception desk.
Sleeping Configurations
The
usual bedding arrangements for apartments consists of a King or Queen size
bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in each of the other bedrooms.
The usual occupancy is:

Most
apartments can provide an extra bed which is usually a roll-away divan
and in some cases it may be a pull-out sofa bed. This allows a 2 bedroom
apartment to accommodate
5 persons and a 3 bedroom apartment to accommodate 7 persons. Studio
apartments/suites are not common, but when they are available it is
usually on the basis that they will accommodate 2 persons only with no
option for an extra person.
Extra
person charges will apply to cover the bed rental, extra bed and
bathroom linen and servicing costs.
High Rise vs Low Rise
Not only do high rise apartments provide great views, they will usually
have cooling ocean
breezes that can remove the need for air conditioning. They have elevator
access to all levels so there are no stairs to climb. While most holiday makers prefer the views that
are usually found in high rise apartments, not everyone has a head for
heights or the children may be of an age where playing on high rise
balconies may be considered a safety risk.
Low rise apartments are often described as "walk up" meaning that
there are no elevators. Access to the apartments is via flights of
stairs. Persons with restricted mobility may need to take this into account
which choosing accommodation.
Depending on the individual location, low rise properties may not get
the full advantage of ocean breezes. Having an air conditioned apartment may
be an important consideration for guests visiting during the summer
period.
Tickets
For Shows, Tours & Attractions
Reservation desks provide a booking service for the theme parks,
tours, cruises, entertainment and local
attractions. There is no extra cost to the guest as the booking service
is complimentary.
The major car rental
companies such as Avis, Hertz and Thrifty have offices on the Gold Coast.
There is also a large selection of local
rental companies offering conventional sedans and wagons plus
specialty vehicles such as open top convertibles, sports coupes,
4WD off-road and mini van people movers. Vehicle rentals can usually be
arranged from the reception desk.
